A Ministry Covered in Faith, Hope and Love
Rooted in the Solid Rock Jesus Christ
Storehouse Projects
The objective of
the Called Anointed Sent Storehouse Projects is to provide assistance to members
of our communities.
-
Storehouse Food Pantry - Food and
household items for those in need - offered primarily through our
partnership with the Central Missouri Food Bank. Storehouse Food Pantry
currently held the second Tuesday of each month, 1-7 p.m. at the Faith
Christian Center.
-
Storehouse Clothing Center - A
clothing center for those in need of clothing and household appliances and a
"Barter Board". A board listing large furniture and appliance items such as
chairs, couches, baby furniture, refrigerators, etc, offered for those
willing to donate or sell to incoming participants.
-
Youth Center - Offering social skills
training, life skills training, tutoring, donated school supplies,
recreation, service projects, etc.
-
Senior Center - Where seniors are
allowed a place to interact socially, to learn and teach vocational and
other life-skill training, to participate in service projects, etc.
-
Disabled
Services - A place where the disabled of our community are allowed social
interaction, an opportunity to serve, learn and/or teach, etc.
-
Community
Communications Center (Loraine for consideration) - Many in the community
have no phone, and some no mail address, CAS will be providing a call center
where someone will be taking messages for those with no phones, and mail
boxes where those without a mailing address can receive mail.
Our goal is to
provide some of the services required to help those in need to become more
productive citizens. Towards that end we will also be setting up a
centralized Resource Directory that individuals and partners may use to find
assistance across the community.
