School Supplies Update

I've tallied the numbers for the 2005 School Supplies Distribution. Sixty-six families were served with 143 children. Twenty-four families were repeats from last year. I still have a few families contacting me and I am filling their needs as quickly as possible. I really appreciate the help I received from the families who donated supplies to the volunteers who put in the "sweat equity." It sure was hot in that cafeteria; we almost melted. I had to send my daughter Sarah home early, she was about to have a heat stroke. She's doing fine now. Hopefully, prayerfully, faithfully. . .we WILL be in our new building next year. Cooler environment and no loading/unloading of the van all in one evening---sounds heavenly to me.
